Random Number Generator & Wheel
Set your minimum and maximum, hit generate, and get a fair cryptographic random number — wheel spin or instant display.
Generate random numbers within any custom min-max range. Choose between an animated number wheel spin or an instant digital display. No-repeat mode for lotteries and raffles.
How to Use the Random Number Generator
Step-by-step instructions to get the best results
Set Your Minimum and Maximum Values
Enter your lower bound in the "Minimum" field and your upper bound in the "Maximum" field. The range can be as tight as 1–6 (dice) or as wide as 1–1,000,000 for large draws.
Choose Wheel Mode or Instant Mode
Toggle between "Wheel" mode — which displays a colorful animated wheel with up to 60 numbered segments — and "Instant" mode, which shows the result in a large digital display for fast sequential draws.
Enable Unique / No-Repeat Mode if Required
Check "Unique (No Repeats)" to ensure every generated number is distinct. Previously drawn numbers are tracked in the results log and excluded from all future draws until you click Reset.
Generate and Record Your Number
Click the SPIN or "Generate Number" button. The drawn number appears in the history log. Use the Copy button to export the full drawn sequence as comma-separated values, or Reset to start a fresh draw.
Popular Use Cases & Ideas
Where people use the Random Number Generator
Lottery, Raffle & Sweepstakes Draws
Contest organizers, charity events, and community clubs use the Random Number Generator to draw fair, auditable ticket numbers live on stream or at in-person events. No-repeat mode ensures each drawn number is unique across all rounds.
Board Games, RPGs & Virtual Dice
Tabletop RPG players use the number wheel as a polyhedral dice simulator — set 1–20 for a D20, 1–6 for a standard die, or 1–100 for percentile rolls. The animated spin is far more cinematic than any physical die.
Statistical Sampling & Classroom Math
Math teachers and researchers use the tool to generate unbiased random samples, demonstrate probability theory, or assign random student ID numbers for anonymized assessments.

Frequently Asked Questions About Random Number Generator
Is this random number generator truly random or pseudo-random?
It is cryptographically secure pseudo-random, generated by the Web Crypto API's getRandomValues() function. This is the same standard used by secure password managers and cryptographic applications — it is statistically indistinguishable from true randomness for all practical purposes.
What is the maximum number range the wheel can display?
The animated wheel visualizes up to 60 distinct numbered segments clearly. For ranges larger than 60 numbers, switch to Instant Mode which generates within any range you set — there is no upper limit in Instant Mode.
How does No-Repeat mode work exactly?
When "Unique (No Repeats)" is enabled, every generated number is added to an exclusion list. Subsequent spins will never land on an excluded number. The Drawn Numbers log shows your history, and the Reset button clears the exclusion list completely.
Can I pick multiple numbers at once?
Yes — in Instant Mode, click the generate button multiple times in rapid succession to build a sequence. Each click draws the next unique number from your remaining pool, building a complete ordered draw log that you can copy with one click.
Is this suitable for high-stakes contests like charity raffles?
Yes. The cryptographic RNG is fair and the drawn number history log with timestamps provides an auditable record. For live events, stream your screen while spinning so your audience witnesses the transparent selection in real time.
